The ISJFC has organized the “Kanagawa University Institute for the Study of Japanese Folk Culture Workshop” since 1983, holding several open sessions each year. To enhance the level of research, the workshop is attended by members of the ISJFC as well as external researchers who give presentations according to the theme selected for each particular workshop. A total of 134 sessions have been held by April 2023.
