Geographical Scope

Purpose

Materials Related to the 1950 Oku-Noto Survey

From its early stages, the Institute has focused on the culture and history of the Oku-Noto region and has continued to conduct research and produce findings mainly in the Machino district of Wajima City, where the Tokikuni family home was located. In response to the recent earthquake, we have established the 2024 Noto Earthquake Response Team to recollate various survey data and research materials. We are committed to making every effort to properly preserve damaged archives in cooperation and collaboration with related organizations.
