Geographical scope
Futagamijima Island, Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture
Purpose
Research on Futagamijima Island conducted in the
1950s by Tsuneichi Miyamoto, Yoshihiko Amino,
Takeharu Kawaoka, et al. was revived for the compilation
and cataloging of documents related to the Futagami
Family and the fisheries cooperative association.
Results include photo collections, document collections, catalogues of the materials, essays, and
research reports on the regional culture of gravestones and funeral rituals.
